De Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is een legende in de 911-serie. Hij werd in 1973 ontwikkeld om deel te nemen aan de Europese GT-races. Hij heeft een 2.687cc 6 cilinder motor met 210pk en een lichtgewicht carrosserie met verbeterde aerodynamica. De RSR 2.8 raceversie had een herziene 2.808cc motor met meer dan 300 pk en won de Europese GT-raceserie in 1973.
Het model wordt geleverd op het TAMIYA BT-01 chassis in de versie met korte wielbasis, middenmotor en achterwielaandrijving (MR).
Het TAMIYA BT-01 chassis is een beginnersvriendelijk chassis dat 6 verschillende aandrijf- en chassisvarianten biedt.
De wielbasis kan worden ingesteld op 257 mm en 251 mm. Verder is het chassis gebaseerd op de aandrijving van echte auto's en kan het worden gebouwd als voormotor of middenmotor met voorwielaandrijving of achterwielaandrijving.

The new 80A brushed speed controller is waterproof, programmable and pre-assembled with a T-connector. To fully exploit the potential of the vehicle, we recommend a 2S LiPo battery for operation. The car is driven by a 540 15T brushed engine which directly accesses the all-wheel drive. The two differentials (front and rear) are driven by an aluminum drive shaft. Due to the higher power of the speed controller and the use of T-plugs, any 2S LiPo battery can be used - no matter what C-rate and capacity.
4 oil-pressure shock absorbers provide ideal handling so that a lot of driving fun arises. If you choose the on-road tires, you can make hot drifts on smooth surfaces while the grooved profile of the rally tires provides traction on almost any surface. A 6kg servo takes over the implementation of the steering commands.
Lightweight and compact design, as well as comfortable and ergonomically shaped - these are just two features of our CR4S 4-channel remote control. Of course, all trim, reverse and dual rate functions are available in the cockpit, so that settings can be made easily via levers and knobs. BT-01 chassis
Het 2WD BT-01 chassis biedt de keuze uit twee soorten wielbasis en voor- of achterwielaandrijving. Zonder het batterijpakket, de motor en de R/C-uitrusting van het centrale frame te verwijderen, verander gewoon de bevestigingsrichting van de eindoverbrenging en de stuurstang om te schakelen tussen voor- en achterwielaandrijving; de motorpositie vooraan (FR) of midscheeps achteraan (MR) kan gekozen worden voor auto's met achterwielaandrijving. De 4-wiel ophanging met dubbele wishbone heeft een symmetrische structuur en frictiedempers. Onderdelen zoals de motorsteun, eindoverbrengingen en ophanging zijn gegroepeerd voor eenvoudige montage en effectief onderhoud.
